Is this asking too much?

ImageRecently, Penguin ran what I initially thought was a pretty good campaign on Twitter. “Retweet the fact that the next Malcolm Gladwell book is here and you could win a copy of it” was basically the script.

I did so, as one would, and clicked my way to the prize (or so I thought).

Geez, Penguin was pulling no punches. Before they would let me enter the prize draw, they wanted my name, full street address (even I don’t it by heart), city, country, e-mail and postcode.

And to wash all that information down, they also made me a special offer – 15% off the book if I bought it there and then – plus the opportunity to sign up for their FREE weekly newsletter!

Why would I? Pray someone, do tell me.
